HLEN - A Clermont man is one of two people arrested and charged in connection with the death of a White County man during a fight in Helen Saturday.

Helen Police Chief Ted Ray says 22-year-old Richard Noah Bryson turned himself in Tuesday at the White County Sheriff's Office. 21-year-old Ryan Lovell of Habersham County was also taken into custody Tuesday.

Chief Ray says Lovell was arrested by Hall County sherif's deputies acting on a lookout that had been posted for him.

Lovell and Bryson are charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of 42-year-old Mark Edward Prescott who died shortly after he was found in a parking lot in Helen Saturday night.

Prescott died at a hospital not long after he was found with a head injury apparently suffered when he hit his head on the pavement during a fight with Lovell and Bryson.
