The Franklin County Sheriff's Office did not release details on the incident, saying only that it resulted in one person being taken by helicopter for treatment of injuries. The suspect, identified as Clinton Patrick Miller, was reportedly traveling in a vehicle that was reported as stolen from out of the state.

Miller is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon related to Saturday morning's incident. He reportedly led Franklin County Sheriff's deputies on a pursuit through the northern end of the county after that incident.

"(Miller) crashed the vehicle through a pasture fence and into a tree, and exited the vehicle, fleeing into the woods," a statement from the sheriff's office said.

A search is now underway for Miller, who is believed to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call 911.

Miller was last seen in the area of Ga. 320 and McFarlin Bridge Road in the northwest end of Franklin County.
