Dickinson appointed to Superior Court of Bell-Forsyth Judicial Circuit

ATLANTA - The vacancy in the Superior Court of the Bell-Forsyth Judicial Circuit will be filled by state court judge David Dickinson.<br>

The governor made that appointment Thursday.<br>
<br>
Dickinson will replace Richard Gault, who died at his home July 23.<br>
<br>
The Judicial Nominating Commission later will recommend someone for the state court judgeship in Forsyth County.<br>
<br>
Dickinson will be sworn in November 7.<br>
<br>
He previously served as judge for superior and probate courts in the Bell-Forsyth Judicial Circuit.<br>
<br>
Dickinson is a graduate of Mercer University and the Thomas Cooley Law School. He and his wife, Karol Ann, have one child.
