Dolores June Holcomb

Mrs. Dolores June Holcomb, 94, of Gainesville passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

A private graveside service for family only will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in Memorial Park Cemetery due to the current health concerns. Rev. Bruce Fields will officiate. When time will allow, a memorial service will be held at The First Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. There will be no visitation.

Born on June 20, 1925 in Clinton, IL, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Eloise Cralley. Mrs. Holcomb was a retired nurse for Fieldale and was a member of First Baptist Church, Gainesville.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holcomb is preceded in death by her husband, Posy Holcomb.

Mrs. Holcomb is survived by her sons, Posy “Bud” Holcomb (Gayle) and Brandon Holcomb of Winston, GA.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center 743 Spring Street, Gainesville, GA or to the First Baptist Church 751 Green Street Gainesville, GA 30501.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
