William Randall Tomlinson III, known to all who loved him as Trae, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 in Cleveland, GA.
He was born in Atlanta, GA at Northside Hospital on July 4th, 1980. As a child, he loved sports and this passion continued in his high school years. He graduated Class of 1999 from White County High School. He excelled at football as a kicker and was one of the few cheerleaders at WCHS. He attended North Georgia College and in 2007, made the decision to join the United States Army Reserves. During this time, he became a proud father to Annaleigh Kate Tomlinson on November 7, 2008. In 2009, he was deployed to Afghanistan.
He returned in March 2010 and was able to reconnect with Annaleigh and her mother Tara Lovell and family.
He loved landscaping, the beach, music and family. Trae was recently engaged to Brittany Ann Peters from Oakwood, GA. Brittany and her son, Shane were a large part of Trae and Annaleigh’s life.
Survivors include daughter, Annaleigh Kate Tomlinson; father, William “Bill” Tomlinson Jr. and Lisa; mother, Jan Langford and fiancé, Jerry McGarry; step-dad, Tim Langford and wife, Catherine; fiancé, Brittany Peters and her son Shane; Trae’s sister and brother-in-law, Farrah Tomlinson and Shane Palmer; Trae’s brother’s, Justin and Bryce Langford, Vance Tomlinson and Ashley Mickler and Anthony Tasselli; sister, Christina Tasselli; Trae’s niece’s, Kayla Ziccardi, Kennedy Crowe, and Ava Tomlinson; nephews, Ky Crowe, Karson Crowe, Alden Tomlinson and Harrison Ziccardi; and many other family members who loved him to the moon and back.
A celebration of life service is scheduled for 2 P.M. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Cleveland Worship Center.
