Edward Glenn

Mr. Edward Glenn completed his ordained assignment by God on November 12, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. Edward was born to the late Mr. Mack (Emma) Glenn in Lavonia, Georgia on November 21, 1932. He was the youngest son of four. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Mrs. Audrey Wheeler Glenn, his daughter Mrs. Cora Dale Hollingsworth, one sister Ms. Mattie Ross, two brothers Mr. Reuben Mack Glenn and Mr. Willie Lee Glenn Sr.  Edward accepted Christ at an early age and has been a faithful committed member of Trinity C.M.E. in Gainesville, Georgia for over 50 years. As a member of Trinity, Edward served on the Trustee Board, as a steward and a dedicated choir member as a tenor, and the driver of the church van.
Edward attended the Public-School System of Franklin County, Georgia and at the age of 57 he received his GED. He was employed with Royston Purina for 35 years with a retirement year of 1992.
In Edwards spare time he sung with the Souls of Calvary, he enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and spending time with his family, friends and church members. He loved to travel with his grandchildren to Silver Spring, Florida and Disney World.
He leaves to cherish his memories his two sons, Mr. Hyziher (Sandra) Glenn and Mr. Edward Daniel Glenn Jr. both of Gainesville, Georgia. One Sister-In-Law Mrs. Beatrice Hailey of Gainesville, Georgia, 10 grandchildren and a host great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special Nieces Ms. Mary Katheryn Pratt and Mrs. Belinda Hailey and one special nephew Mr. Freddy Brown.
