Nellie Foster Nichols

Nellie Foster Nichols, age 97, of Suwanee, GA passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019. She was preceded in death by son, Johnny Preston Foster; and first husband, Harold Foster. Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Robert Joe Nichols, Suwanee; children, Harold Dean and Carol Foster, Thomaston, GA, Roy Foster, Flowery Branch, GA, Sheila and Donald Hicks, Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Alisha and Donald Parks, Crawford, GA, Ronnie and Brittany Hicks, Suwanee, GA, Danny and Savanna Hicks, Winterville, GA; two great grandchildren, Bodie Parks and Miller Parks; sister, Gladys Moore Rednour, Commerce, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Nichols was born on July 17, 1922 in Forsyth County. She graduated from High School, class of 1939, in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Nichols was a homemaker, and she was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, in the Shakerag Community, in Suwanee, GA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Suwanee. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 25 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 26 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
