Shirley Maddox Ramey

Shirley Maddox Ramey, age 63, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019. She was preceded in death by parents, James and Dorothy Jarrard Maddox. Ms. Ramey is survived by children, Shane Matthew Ramey, Lawrenceville, Kristen Noel Ramey, Suwanee, GA; granddaughter, Melia Celine Hamlin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna Maddox, Linda Maddox, Buford, GA, Mildred and Roger Pitman, Suwanee, GA, Vicky and Thomas Davis, Danielsville, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Randall and Phyllis Maddox, Bishop, GA and Ricky Maddox, Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; special first cousin, Kenny and Anita Williamson, Dawsonville, GA; other beloved cousins; and numerous friends. Ms. Ramey was born on October 3, 1955 in Buford, GA. She was a 1973 graduate of North Gwinnett High School, and was employed with Taychem Industries in Lawrenceville as office manager for the past eighteen years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Kenny Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 6, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Shirley Maddox Ramey.
