Patricia Ann Grindle

Patricia Ann Grindle age 71 of Gillsville passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at her residence.

Patricia Ann was born January 5, 1948 in Jackson County, Georgia to the late Columbus and Mandy Dover Hicks. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Tom Hicks, William “Bud” Hicks and George Hicks; sisters; Gainelle Huntsinger, Lucille Stowe, Kathleen and Dorothy Wright and Betty Crane; three infant brothers and one infant sister.

Mrs. Grindle was a homemaker and loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Her family and friends meant the world to her. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith and a member of a Flowery Branch Congregational Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Randall Grindle; son, Randy and Sonya Grindle, Gainesville; daughters, Tammy and Mike Ledford, Talmo, & Penny and Mike Latty, Maysville; grandchildren, Tabitha and Jeremy Kitchens, Trent and Melissa Latty, Lacey and Rob Allen, all of Maysville and Tyler Ledford, Talmo; great grandchildren, Emory and Mason Kitchens, Alissa, Ava and Hunter Latty, Charleigh and Cooper Allen, Mechyna Ledford, Addison Bailey and Jayse Gooch; several nieces and nephews and a special lifelong friend, Mildred Voyles.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ward’s Funeral Home. Rev. Sara Pearson and Rev. James Kanaday will officiate. Interment will follow at Diamond Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday July 6, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
