Maria DeJesus Burciaga-Alavarez, age 92, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. She was preceded in death by husband,  Felix Zuniga. Mrs. Burciaga-Alavarez is survived by children, Evandelina Zuniga, Gainesville, GA, Mercedes Medina, California, Gustavo Zuniga, Gainesville, GA, Alicia Zuniga, Buford, GA, Elvia Zuniga, Mexico, Efren Zuniga, Mexico, Francisco Zuniga, Gainesville, GA, Gilbeto Zuniga, Gainesville, GA, Flexi Zuniga, Gainesville, GA, Rosario Zuniga, Washington, DC; seventy grandchildren; fifty great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with interment at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 at the funeral home.
