Annie Mae Estelle Owen

Annie Mae Estelle Owen, 83, of Gainesville passed away May 12, 2019 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Michael McIntyre officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on January 27, 1936 in Riverdale, GA she was the daughter of the late Dave and Flora Estelle Hale Bruce. She was a homemaker and a member of Straightway Baptist Church.

Mrs. Owen is survived by her husband, William Owen of Gainesville; son, Wesley Nutting of Gainesville; daughter, Shirley Nutting of Gainesville; son, Edward Nutting of Gainesville; sisters, Betty Ramey of Demorest, Rosa Lee Brooks of Dahlonega; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Pam Martin of Gainesville; stepson, Kenny Owen of Clermont and a number of other relatives.
