Virginia “Jenny” Braswell Eggers

Virginia “Jenny” Braswell Eggers, age, 79 of Memphis, TN, formally of Atlanta, GA passed away Monday, March 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her Father, Edwin Fincher Braswell, Sr.; mother, Carrie L. Bailey Braswell; brothers, Edwin F. Braswell, Jr., Lauren Thomas Braswell; sister, Shirley Braswell; sister in-law, Marnie Braswell. She is survived by her daughter, C.J Braswell Drew, Memphis, TN; brothers, Dale Allen (Eloise) Braswell, Lawrenceville, GA, Richard Stanley Braswell, Flowery Branch, GA; sister in-law, Vicki Braswell, Woodstock, GA; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Eggers was born December 25, 1939 in Atlanta, GA. She received her education at Okefee High School in Atlanta, GA. She was retired from the International Paper Company and a member of  Bellview Baptist Church, Memphis TN. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 at 1 pm at Buford First United Methodist Church, Buford, GA. with the Rev. Jim Buckman officiating. The remains will lie in state from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.  Interment to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Tucker, GA.
