Barbara Ward Reynolds

Barbara Ward Reynolds, age 83, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Rev. Marvin G. Reynolds, Flowery Branch, GA; children, Mary Jean and Greg Furlaw, Douglasville, GA; Martha Ann  and Terry Dodds, Villa Rica, GA, Karen Leigh Miles, Dahlonega, GA, and Marvin Reynolds, Jr, Flowery Branch, GA; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Sue Ward, Reidsville, NC and Donzetta Ward Mills, Peachtree City, GA; brother, William Verlan “Henry” Ward, Rougemont, NC; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Reynolds was born on February 10, 1935 in Durham, NC.  She was a 1954 graduate of Durham High School in Durham. She was a retired secretary from Federal Reserve Bank and she also worked for The Bank of Fulton County in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Flowery Branch First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and also a Stephen Minister. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Flowery Branch United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris McCain officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10.
