William Reeves Harrison

Mr. William Reeves Harrison, age 77, residing on East Silver Shoals Road in Eastanollee passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late Carl F. and Elizabeth Fuller Harrison, he was born July 16, 1941 in Stephens County, Ga. where he lived for all of his life. He was retired from Wright’s Manufacturing Company and later worked with Peeler Dairies for several years. Mr. Harrison served in the National Guard for a number of years and was a member at Liberty Hill Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon of the church. He was also on several church committees at Liberty Hill. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Whiten and by two brothers, Tim Harrison and Milland Harrison.

He is survived by a daughter, Sheila Whitten of Eastanollee, Ga., a son, Jeff Harrison (Fadi) of Jacksonville, Florida, two granddaughters, Kelly Pruitt and Lori Whiten, six great grandchildren, brother, Bobby Harrison of Toccoa and a sister, Debbie Baumgartner of Ellenwood, Ga.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Whiten officiating.

The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers. Please assemble at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. Tuesday; Mike Harrison, Morris Harrison, Richard Pulliam, Stanley Harrison, Keith Hornick, and Gregg Garland.

Tom Dooley and Jackie Harrison have been selected to serve as honorary escorts, please assemble by 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The family will be at the home in Eastanollee and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Monday, 11/12/2018 and Tuesday, prior to the funeral service, from 11:00 a.m. till 1:45 p.m.
