Frances Elaine Norris

Frances Elaine Norris, age 67, of Toccoa, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 17, 2018, after a battle of aggressive cancer.

Mrs. Norris was born on July 20, 1951, in Jackson County, Georgia, to the late Rev. Clarence and Lois Martin. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry R. Norris. Mrs. Norris was of the Holiness faith and employed with Mt. Vernon Mills.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Ken and Stephanie and Frank, all of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Joydean Martin of Cornelia; brother, Michael Free; grandchildren: Elizabeth and husband, Joe, Hamilton and wife, Zanna, Amber and husband, Michael, and Andrew; eight great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harry and Loretta Norris of Scaly Mountain, NC and Bill and Fran Norris of Franklin, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 pm on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Aaron Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at the funeral home.
