Mattie Belle Harrison Whitmire

Mattie Belle Harrison Whitmire, age 94, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Gurney Boone Whitmire; parents, A. Linton and Louella B. Harrison; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.  Mattie was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

 Mattie is survived by her daughters Amenda (Homer) Parr and Amelia Whitmire of Cumming; 2 granddaughters Danielle Samara of Cumming and Liza (Joe) Ansley of Roswell; 2 great granddaughters Natalie Samara of Cumming and Mattie Ansley of Roswell; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30th at 11:00 am. in the chapel at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bottoms, Rev. Harold Bottoms, and Rev. Sam Rickett officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery.  The family will receive visitors at Ingram Funeral home on Thursday, March 29th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the funeral home.
