Coy Junior Whitley

Coy Junior Whitley, age 69 formerly of Cleveland passed away at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon on June 18, 2017.  Coy was born on August 3, 1947 to the late Cortez Whitley and Bertha Odell Whitley.  He was proud to have served his country in The United States Navy. Later in life, he was a construction supervisor for a number of years at Carroll Daniel Construction out of Gainesville, Georgia.

Coy leaves behind one daughter, Angie Whitley.    He is also survived by 5 sisters; Barbra Harkins, Eva Williams, Darline Smith, Carol Spinks, and Daphne Lomax,   Grandchildren; Logan Moody and Lauren Moody,  Great-granddaughter;  Avakate Ridenour.

The family of Coy Whitley will receive friends on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.    The funeral service for Mr. Whitley will be Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home.
