Robert (Bob) Echols

Mr. Robert (Bob) Echols of Gainesville, Ga. Passed away April 4, 2017 at the age of 83.  

He was a native of Wilkes County, the son of the late A. C. Echols and Catherine Callaway Echols. 

He was also predeceased in death by brothers J. C. Echols, W.V. (Bud) Echols, Thomas W. Echols, Charles A. Echols and sister, Frances Echols Blakey. 

He is survived by his wife Opal Norman Echols, son David A. Echols of Duluth, nephews Carl Echols, Hamilton, Ohio, Danny Blakey, Tignall, Ga., and Randy Blakey, Valdosta, Ga.

Funeral services will be held at Blackshear Place Baptist Church, Flowery Branch, Ga. on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 11:00 AM., where Mr. Echols was a faithful member. Reverend Jeff Crook will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 06, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Danburg Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Drewery Loggins, at 2:30 P.M. on Friday April 07, 2017
