Grady Lamar Crook

Mr. Grady Lamar Crook, 81, of Gainesville passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 following a brief illness.

A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Marc Turner will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on May 17, 1935, in Jackson County, GA., he was the son of the late Roy T. and Ila Bell Freeman Crook. He was retired from Gwinnett County where he worked in the Commercial Building Inspection Department. Mr. Crook was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Crook is preceded in death by his brothers, W.T., George Edwin, Terrell, Jimmy and Harold Crook.

Mr. Crook is survived by his wife, Hilda Crook of Gainesville; daughters, Lori Crook, DeLita (Michael) Corbin, Paula (Ben) Seigler all of Gainesville; sons, David (Rhonda) Crook, Sam (Michelle) Robinson all of Gainesville, Barry (Wendi) Robinson of Cleveland; grandchildren, Jarrad Howard, Matthew Robinson, Kristen Howard, Joshua Robinson, Cade Corbin, Cameron Robinson, Samantha Robinson, Dawson Gaines, Ciara Corbin, Marli Robinson, Natalie Seigler and a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Office of Development
Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
