Sharron Ann Oliver Garrett, age 81. Mrs. Garrett passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
Mrs. Garrett was born in Toccoa, Georgia to Vernon Estelle Holbrook and Lydia Marie Ivester Holbrook of Toccoa, Georgia.
Sharron, for many years was a stay at home Mom and wife to her husband, Dorsey (Duck) Oliver, who passed away in 1998, and their five children. After her children were grown, she had a short career at Jacky Jones Ford in Cleveland, Alexander’s Gateway Chapel (Alexander Funeral Home) and the White County Courthouse.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Jill, a son Dorsey Oliver, Jr. and her second husband, Vaughn Garrett and two brothers, Bobby and Farris Holbrook. Sharron is survived by four daughters, Janice Oliver, Cleveland, Judy and Tim Barrett, Gainesville, Jody and Keith McCallister, Cleveland and Linda and Bryan Westmoreland, Sautee, nine grandchildren, Dustin Sutton, Brandy Sutton, both of Cleveland, Clay Caudell, Gainesville, Kristin Barrett, Atlanta, Eli McCallister, Cleveland, Ethan McCallister, Atlanta, McKayla McCallister, Cleveland, Cody Westmoreland and Katie Westmoreland, both of Sautee, Five great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Jaelen Grimsley, Cleveland, Chase Grizzle, Cleveland, Hailey Sutton and Drew Sutton, both of Cleveland.
Funeral services are planned for 1:00 p.m. Friday November 11, 2016 at Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Barrett and Keith McCallister officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
