Arthur Butler

Mr. Arthur Butler returned to his Heavenly home on July 6, 2016.  His devotion to his family and firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.  Mr. Butler was born to the Claude Butler and Louise Buffington Butler, In Ila, Georgia.  Arthur was blessed with a loving family; he married Dorothy Mae Pulliam Butler, in Gainesville Georgia.

He leaves his legacy of love, honor, and respect to his loving family: mother Louise Butler; his daughters Constance Pulliam Bray and Lynda Butler (Raymond Bailey), grandchildren; Jasper Hale, Tiara Cobb, Tanisha Cobb, and Ranisha Bailey, brother-in-law; Mr. Bobby Dean Pulliam, one great-grandchild; Damien Tweedell, a very special lady Annie Ruth Rucker, a very special family friend Terry Buffington, and host of relatives and friends that loved him.

The family will greet and receive friends on Sunday July 10, 2016 from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Wimberly and Jackson Funeral Home in Gainesville Georgia, 30501

Arthur’s home going celebration will be held at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Lula, Georgia, starting at 11:00am Monday July 11, 2016.  Appreciation repast will follow after service.
