Linda Perry Sexton

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Linda Perry Sexton, age 68 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, June 23, 2016.  Mrs. Sexton was born in Pendergrass, Georgia a daughter of the late Eugene and Ina Ivey Perry, attended Gainesville Junior College, was a member of Galilee Christian Church, and was a retired Bookeeper with Wilson Manufacturing Company.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sexton is preceded by two sisters; Avis Coker and Mardell Davis, and a brother, Walter Perry.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Sexton of Jefferson, three sisters; Margaret Tinsley of Oakwood, Jeanne Ward of Hoschton, and Judy Williams of Littleton, North Carolina.  Four brothers; Talmadge Perry of Lavonia, Ralph Perry of Jefferson, Kesler Perry of Commerce, and Tommy Perry of Athens, and beloved  companion, Angel.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Saturday, June 25, 2016 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends 6 – 7 P.M. Saturday, June 25, 2016, prior to the service at the Funeral home.
