Anna Belle Morrison Dean

Funeral services for Anna Belle Morrison Dean, age 90 of the Batesville community will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 3:00 PM from the Oakey Mountain Baptist Church. Rev. Brion Williams, Rev. Larry Free, and Rev. Tim Holcomb will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, from 5-8 PM.

Mrs. Dean passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016.

Born in Habersham County on November 16, 1925, Mrs. Dean was the daughter of the late W.L and Georgia Free Morrison. Mrs. Dean was a member of Oakey Mountain Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Dean is preceded in death by her husband Wade Dean, sisters Merle Morrison and Mozelle Free, brothers J. B. Morrison and Wooldridge Morrison, and sisters Eloise Sutton and Allene Sutton.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Marcia and Randall Peyton of Mt. Airy, son and daughter in law Lamar and Teresa Dean of Batesville, and son Willis Dean of Batesville, sister Juanita Morrison of Batesville, grandchildren Daniel Dean (Missy), Erin Cross (Michael), Kevin Peyton, Kelley Warnock (Casey), Kerry Peyton (Megan), Danita Ayers, and Dustin Dean (Darby), as well as nine great grandchildren.
