Benjamin Waldrop Hardin, Sr

Benjamin Waldrop Hardin, Sr., age 81, of Gainesville, GA, and formerly of Boone, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 following an extended illness.

Mr. Hardin was born and raised in Lakeland, FL and served his country in the United States Army. He retired after 49 years as a dentist. He loved golf and was a wonderful woodworker.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen Haigler Hardin, Gainesville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Ben W. Hardin Jr. and Mary Anne; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Gary Clements, and Elizabeth and John Kirkland, all of Lakeland, FL. 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and other relatives also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
