Kenneth Marvin Scott

Mr. Kenneth Marvin Scott, age 63 of 320 Highview Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his residence.

A son of Hazel Jenkins Scott and the late Marvin D. Scott, he was born June 21, 1952 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran, employed with Mike Adams Service Center for a number of years and later was self-employed in the construction business.  He was a member of Eastanollee Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher, Discipleship Training Teacher, Men’s Ministry Director and Chairman of the Building and Grounds.

Survivors include his mother of Toccoa, Hazel Jenkins Scott; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Shirley Scott and James and Nancy Scott both of Toccoa; sister, Barbara Willis of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 25, 2 O’clock PM at Eastanollee Baptist Church with the Reverend Ricky McFarlin officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, His Fishing Friends and Mike Adams.

The family will be at the home Highview Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will be in the Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Kenneth Marvin Scott.
