Mr. Oliver “Pete” Swords, age 87, of Winder, Georgia went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2015. He was a veteran of The United States Army, The United States Air Force and The United States Navy. Mr. Swords was a retired maintenance supervisor with Thrall Railcar Manufacturing of Winder. He was a member of Whistleville Christian Church.
Surviving Family members include his Wife, Deweylene Swords, Daughter and Son-in-law, Gail and Larry Hunt, all of Winder, Two Granddaughters and Three Great Grandchildren.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00 P. M., Monday, April 20, 2015 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral with Linwood Smith and Rev. Ray Fumea, Sr. officiating. Interment with military honors will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens. Calling hours
