Sherbie Jean Allen Harris

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Sherbie Jean Allen Harris, age 76, of Jefferson, Georgia, who entered into rest Monday, March 23, 2015. Mrs. Harris was born in Commerce, Georgia, a daughter to the late Bob and Geraldine Griffin Allen. Mrs. Harris was a retired Pattern Designer for Wilkins Industries and was a member of the Homer United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Hoyt Harris of Jefferson; daughter, Cindi Harris Cheek, Jefferson; granddaughter and husbands, Kellie and Chris Coulter, Suwanee, Holly and Brendan Hawkins of Maysville; grandson and wife, Rusty and Candis Cheek of Homer; great grandchildren, Parks Cheek, Collin Coulter and Cullen Smith; brothers, Truman Allen, William Allen, Doug Allen; sisters, Charlotte Allen, and Dianne Matthews all of Commerce; and many beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral home with Reverend James McLendon officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park with Daniel Harris, Doug Cheek, Jimmy Harris, Adam Matthews, Chris Coulter and Brendan Hawkins honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 4-7 pm at Evans Funeral Home.
