Billy Raymond Stacey

Billy Raymond Stacey, 79 of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 22. 2015 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park North. Reverend Maxey Ladd and Reverend David Gravitt will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Stacey was born on February 21, 1936 in Alabama City to the late Luther Theo Stacey and Dorothy Jeanette Buckner. He retired from the Air Force after 22 years as a Master Sergeant and also served 2 years in the Georgia Army National Guard he was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church. Billy has attended Riverbend Baptist Church for the past 15 years.
Mr. Stacey is survived by his wife, Bettye Smith Stacey of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dattu Patel of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Becky Stacey of Braselton; grandchildren, Blake and Kyle Stacey, Lucas and Seth Patel; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Ron Riley of Decula; nieces that he considered his granddaughters, Emma Grace and Abbie Miller and number of other nieces and nephews.
