Funeral services for Sarah Taylor Williams, age 75 of Clarkesville will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Dr. Craig Ward, Rev. Tommy Stowe, and Rev. Jimmy Richardson will officiate with interment to follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness.

Born on July 6, 1939 in Cusseta, Georgia, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Henry E. and Nancy Reba Culpepper Taylor. Mrs. Williams was a bookkeeper with the Keith Boger Investment Group and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Williams was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she was in the Ken Brown Sunday School Class and the YAHWEH Sisterhood Bible Study. In addition to her parents Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by brother Richard Ligon and daughter in law Angela Williams.

Survivors include husband Virgil Williams of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Nancy and Keith Boger of Clarkesville, daughter Judith Williams of Clarkesville, son Mike Williams of Alto, sister Peggy Strawder of Box Springs, Georgia, grandchild Danielle Carson of Navarre, Florida, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM.
