William A. Fowler Jr.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 11, 2015 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for William "Billy" Allen Fowler Jr., age 74 of Gainesville. The Rev. Bradley Elliott will officiate. Interment will follow in Airline Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Fowler passed away Sunday February 8 at his home following a chronic illness.




Mr. Fowler was born in Hall County on July 24, 1940 to the late William "Billy" Allen Fowler Sr. and Maudean Hamilton Fowler. He was owner of Fowler Concrete Company. Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Micki Diane Loggins Lee, granddaughter, Tara Diane Garrison, grandsons, Jeffrey Lee Smallwood, Tommy "Scoot" Lee, brother, Ben Fisher Fowler, sister, Dicie Fowler Green.




Mr. Fowler is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of 55 years, Dorothy Fowler, sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn "Lucy" Fowler Crisp and Billy Crisp, NC, children, Vickie Loggins, Gainesville, Ricky Loggins and Jennifer Byers, Keith and Carolyn Garrison, Alto, William Fowler III and Theresa Garrison, Gainesville, Linda Fowler, Robbie Fowler Smallwood, Gainesville, Bobby and April Fowler, Gainesville, Rena Fowler, Gainesville, and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.




Mr. Fowler will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
