Charles William Brock

Charles William Brock, 47, of Dawsonville, GA passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 after many years battling a brain tumor. A loving husband and father, at the time of his passing Charles was in his surrounded by family and friends. Born on May 4, 1967 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Charles grew up in Arkansas until moving to Georgia in 1983. An avid football fan, Charles enjoyed cheering on his Razorbacks even after moving across the country. Charles is survived by many family and friends including his Wife and Daughter: Angela and Kristina Brock of Dawsonville, GA, Father: Wayne Brock of Dawsonville, GA, Mother and Stepfather: Cherie and Joseph Lewis of Terre Haute, IN, Sister and Brother-in-law: Angela and Dave Whitesell of Terre Haute, IN, Brother and Sister-in-law: Jason and Dawn Rankin of Terre Haute, IN, Sister and Brother-in-law: Genie and Dave Hemmrich of Terre Haute, IN, Mother-in-law: Catherine Owens of Ball Ground, GA, Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law: Ryan and Ashley Owens of Canton, GA as well as multiple nieces and nephews. Services for Charles will be held at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with visitation Friday, October 10 from 5:00-8:00 pm and again Saturday, October 11 from 11:00-1:00 pm. A memorial service celebrating Charles' life will take place at the funeral home, Saturday, October 11 at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Charles' honor to "Can't Never Could, Inc."(www.cantnevercouldinc.com), a foundation that is dedicated to helping those battling brain tumors.
