Dorothy Allene Lingerfelt

Dorothy "Dot" Allene Lingerfelt, age 78 of Dahlonega, GA passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014.

Dot was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Dawson County. She was retired from Southern Switches as a rivet operator. Dot was a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother whom loved to cook and tending her flower garden.

The daughter of the late Vernon and Lula Peck Sullens, Dot is also preceded in death by her son, Ricky Proctor; step-son, Tony Lingerfelt; great grandson, Peyton Wehunt; brother, Joe Sullens and sister, Joanne Sullens.

Mrs. Lingerfelt is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jewell Lingerfelt of Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Barbara Proctor, Dahlonega, GA; son, Donald Proctor, Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Cheryl Stuck, Dawsonville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Tracy and Ruby Ann Lingerfelt, Dawsonville, GA; son, Therrell Lingerfelt, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Benny Watson, Dahlonega, GA; sons and daughters
