Laurien E. (Keith) Marsh

Laurien E. (Keith) Marsh, 60, of Gainesville, Georgia and formerly of Centralia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1953 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Louis Franklin and Mary Ellen (Bingaman) Keith. Laurien married Michael Marsh on April 3, 1999.

Laurien is survived by her husband of 15 years, Mike Marsh of Gainesville, GA; a daughter, Hallie Harshbarger and her fiancé, Mike Epps of Knoxville, TN; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Melanie and David Bowen of Austin, TX and Paula Dosher and her fiancé, Lee Bouldin of Carmi, IL; a twin brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Cheryl Keith of Carlyle, IL; three grandchildren, Taegun, Ellie and Macy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents

She was a chiropractic assistant for many years at Dr. Wayne Terry's. Laurien was an avid gardener, had an appetite for knowledge and never met a stranger. She had a huge heart for animals and leaves behind her two rescued dogs, Sariah and Portia, and her rescued horse, Rio. Laurien was a loving wife and best friend, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services for Laurien will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Centralia. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday February 21, 2014 at the funeral home.
