Robert Henry Mosley

Mr. Robert Henry "Pop" Mosley, 69, of Buford, GA passed away on January 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ernie Mae Doss Mosley; brother Douglas Mosley; nephew Timothy Scott Mosley; father in law and mother in law J.A. and Kathryn McMillian. He is survived by his wife of forty-five years Wylene McMillian Mosley, Buford, GA; son and daughter in law Jason and Tonya Mosley, Braselton, GA; grandsons Lane Mosley and Grant Mosley; sister in law Cheryl Etheridge Mosley, Buford, GA; sisters in law and brothers in law Dianne McMillian, Gillsville, GA, Judy and William McMillian, Tennessee, Janice McMillian, Lawrenceville, GA, Kim and A.B. McMillian, Lawrenceville, GA, Anita and Wyatt Henson, Douglasville, GA and Elaine and Ricky Cannon, Auburn, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Mosley was born October 29, 1944 in Buford, GA and had always lived on Gravel Springs Road in the Ivy Creek Community. He received his education at Sunny Hill School and Dacula High School. Mr. Mosley was retired from General Motors Parts Division after twenty-nine years of service. He was also a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Dale and Rev. Ted Williams officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow at Ivy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA with Dr. Jim Ferguson and Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ivy Creek Baptist Church, 2500 Ivy Creek Road, Buford, GA 30519 or Peachtree Christian Hospice, 3430 Duluth Park Lane, Duluth, GA 30096 in memory of Robert Mosley.
