Virginia Pickelsimer

Mrs. Virginia Pickelsimer, age 80, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega, GA following a brief illness.

Virginia was born in Union County, GA May 20, 1933 and had lived in Dahlonega since 1980. She was a homemaker and was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Suches, GA.

She was the daughter of the late Clarence Cain and Bessie Bell Payne Cain.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bob Pickelsimer, Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Aara Pickelsimer, Sunnyvale, CA. Several other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Virginia are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Gerald Edmondson will officiate.

Interment will follow at Dahlonega Memorial Park with Rev. J R Fields officiating.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 4 PM until 8 PM.
