Oliver Lee Kelley

Oliver Lee Kelley, 74 of Cumming, GA died January 25, 2013. He was born May 23, 1938 in Cumming, GA to Arthur Colquit, Sr. and Kate Kelley, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Louise Hamby Kelley; two loving daughters Linda Kelley Williams (Gordon) of Atlanta, GA and Sandra Kelley Tankersley (Scott) of Cumming, GA. Also surviving are four loving grandchildren, Luke Hamner, Taralee Hamner, Hayes Tankersley and Noah Tankersley, a brother, A.C. Kelley of Athens, GA and a sister, Shirley Vaughn of Dawsonville, GA and her husband Carroll Vaughn. Sister-in-law, Helen Hansen of Overland Park, Kansas and sister and brother-in-law, Irene McKinney and Reverend Bob Mckinney of Loganville, GA. Oliver also had many nieces and nephews who he loved very much. Oliver was a lifelong member of Concord Baptist Church in Silver City, GA.

Though Oliver was stricken with Multiple Sclerosis, he did not let it get him down, ever. He loved his Sunday School Class and church. Oliver took great pride in being a greeter there on Sundays. He had much pleasure in being a regular in Chick-fil-A during the week. You would never see this precious man without a huge smile on his face and a kind greeting on his lips. Oliver was a true friend and inspiration to all who met him. One would truly feel blessed in his presence.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, January 26th at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, 210 Ingram Avenue Cumming, GA 30040 from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm and on Sunday January 27th from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service. The service will be held at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel on January 27th at 3:00 pm. Burial following the service at Sawnee View Memorial Garden in Cumming, GA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in honor of Oliver Kelley to Concord Baptist Church WMU at 6905 Concord Road, Cumming, GA 30028.
