Geraldine Papanti Knepp

Geraldine Papanti Knepp, 68, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center.

She was born July 13, 1944 to Arnold Dewey Papanti, Jr. and Madeline Ruth Cague Papanti in Hartford, CT.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Schafer. She is survived by a son, Mike Knepp and his wife, Rita of Franklin, NC; a daughter, Lisa Worley and her husband, Wren Worley of Lakemont, GA; and a brother, John Papanti of Sarasota, FL. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Leah Worley, Hannah Worley, Andrew Worley, Jadon Knepp, Keegan Knepp and Ian Knepp.

Mrs. Knepp was a partner in L&G Realty and was a member of Clayton First United Methodist Church. She loved her family dearly, and thought the world of her dog, Spot. She enjoyed life and loved being with people which was very evident by her personable and outgoing personality.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 7 PM to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 10, 2012 in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wren Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Rabun Memory Park.
