Kevin Ray Meis

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Kevin Ray Meis, 43, of Jefferson, Ga. who passed away Nov. 5, 2012.

Mr. Meis was born in Edmonds, Washington and son of Mrs. Margie Nemnich of Washington State. Mr. Meis was a short order cook who was employed with Shoney's until he became disabled.

Mr. Meis is survived by his companion, Kimberly Bagley, Jefferson, his daughters, Danielle Vorack, Washington State, Alexis Meis, Waycross, Ga., and Ashley Meis, Waycross, Ga., his wife, Sherry Meis, Waycross, Ga., and his mother, Margie Nemnich, Washington State, and a number of other relatives.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
