Martha Lucile Hamby Karr

Martha Lucile Hamby Karr, age 90 of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband. Lemuel Karr; sister, Angie McDowell.



Survivors include her children, Fred (Sharon) Karr of Alpharetta, Jane (Royce) Hughes of Ellijay, Kenny (Cindy) Karr of Buford; brother, Jerry (Doris) Hamby of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Laura Baker, Thomas Karr, Mark Hughes, Tabitha Mouret, Kristin Karr; 4 great grandchildren; also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1st at 3:00 pm at Macedonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Sam Newman and Rev. David Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Holbrook Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon.



In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church, 2415 Holbrook Campground Road, Alpharetta GA 30004.
