Mr. Tyrone F. Tate, age 48 of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 22, 2011 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Dewitt Johnson will officiate. The wake will be held Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 7:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Tate was born June 15, 1963 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Summie and Ola Mae Martin Tate. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Young and brother, Summie Tate, Jr.
Mr. Tate is survived by his sisters, Marie Ramsey of Gainesville; Alice Summerour of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jerry Watson of Riverdale GA; special nieces, Tiffanie Goodridge of Gainesville; Alicia Summerour of Gainesville; one aunt, Roberta Adams of Detroit, MI; one uncle, Dan Martin of Commerce, GA and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
