Rick Pruett

Mr. Rick Pruett, age 54, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Dick Pruett.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Karen Pruett, Sugar Hill, GA; sons, Richard Pruett, Sugar Hill, GA and David Pruett, Sugar Hill, GA; mother, Joy Pruett, Gainesville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lee and Brad Walker, Topeka, KS and Laurie and John Odum, Marietta, GA; niece, Kelly and Brian Gorton, Tulsa, OK; nephews, Lane Walker, Topeka, KS, Will Odum, Marietta, GA and Robby Odum, Marietta, GA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Pruett was born June 27, 1956 in Memphis, TN. He was a 1974 graduate of Hillcrest High School in Memphis, TN and a 1982 graduate of Michigan State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree. He was owner of Rick Pruett's VIP Auto Care in Flowery Branch, GA.

He was involved in the Arts Council in Gainesville, GA. He was a former Rotarian in the Buford Rotary Club. He was a very talented musician with the Pruett Davis Group and P.d.Q. Group. He was a published writer. He was a member of the Buford Presbyterian Church in Buford, GA.

Rick Pruett's request was to be cremated and no funeral service.
