Lewis Wesley Miller Jr.

Evans Funeral Home announced the death of Mr. Lewis Wesley Miller Jr., age 58, of Jefferson, who passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. Mr. Miller was born on December 26, 1951 in Athens, GA, a son to the late Lewis W. Miller and Florence LaCount Miller. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Alice LaFaye Sims. Mr. Miller was a paint contractor whose favorite things to do were spending time in his shop working on a range of projects that include refinishing furniture, re-purposing antiques, working on automobiles and enjoying good times with his many friends.
Survivors include his wife, Dolly Bell Miller, Jefferson, daughter, Lesley Dale Miller of Diamond Hill, sister and brother in law, Linda and Tommy Robinson, Lexington, sister in law and brother in law, Claudia Lyn and Ray Statham, brother in law, Roy and Debbie Bell and Charles and Christy Bell, two grandchildren, Russell Wesley Miller and Lindsey Dayle Miller, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at 2pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Hayes officiating. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-2pm in the funeral home, prior to the service and the burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park with Charles Bell, Christopher Bell, Zoobie Martin, Tracy Galloway, Michael Sims, Buddy Snow, D.J. Willingham and C.J. Bell honored, as pallbearers.
