James Anderson Land

Mr. James Anderson Land, age 88, of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010. He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his grandson, Darrin Gazaway.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Nellie Land; daughter, Joyce Gazaway of Forsyth County; grandchildren, Randy and Crystal Chester and Jason and Trina Gazaway all of Forsyth County; great-grandchildren, Eli and Keeley Chester and Braylon and Hannah Tankersley, all of Forsyth County. Connie Hampton of Cumming, Matt and Jenn Hampton of Spartanburg, SC and Eric and Rachel Hampton of Charlotte, NC; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive him.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11:00 am at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Tuesday, January 12th from 7:00 pm â
