David Payne

David Payne, age 82, of the Hollingsworth Community, Banks County, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009.

Mr. Payne was born on February 19, 1927 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Herschel and Elsie Lane Payne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alec Payne. Mr. Payne was a graduate of the Baldwin High School and was a United States Navy World War II veteran. He was a member of the Line Baptist Church and was a retired poultry and cattle farmer. Mr. Payne was a former board member of the B.J.C. Medical Center Board with 15 years of service and a former member of the Banks County Cattlemenâ
