Mrs. Kittie Ruth Roberts

Kittie Ruth Roberts, age 92 of Timberidge Road, Gainesville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Timberidge Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Chris York, Reverend Anthony Cook and Reverend Verner London will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 11, 2009 and Monday, October 12, 2009 all day at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts was born March 14, 1917 in Sand Mountain, Alabama to the late John Wilkie Morris and Lucy Mae Hubbard Morris. Kittie was retired from New Holland Textile Mill and was a member of Timberidge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Roberts, her daughters, Jean Harmon and Brenda Roberts and her great-grandson, Josh Young.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Jane & Ralph Gable of Gainesville, sister, Ruby Buff of Lincolnton, North Carolina, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
