Dr. David Terry Wofford

Memorial Park Funeral Home announces the death of Dr. David Terry Wofford, 49, of San Antonio, formerly of Hall County.

Services are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel.

Dr. Steve Brown will officiate. Burial will be later in Arlington National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the funeral home.

Mr. Wofford died July 13, 2003, in San Antonio.

Mr. Wofford was a native of Hall County, but had lived for the past five years in San Antonio. He graduated from North Hall High School and North Georgia College and also Medical School of Georgia, where he became a doctor and a dentist. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a colonel. He served in Panama and also a tour of duty in Japan. A flag will be placed in his honor later at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Flint Wofford, San Antonio; parents, John and Betty Wofford, Gainesville; and brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Jan Wofford, Gainesville.
