Mrs. Reba Lorene Bryant Rider Parks

Mrs. Reba Lorene Bryant Rider Parks, age 85, of 554 Camp Wahsega Rd., Dahlonega, Ga., died Thursday, November 27, 2002 at her daughter's residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Parks was born in Jackson County, Ga. on May 28, 1918. She was a homemaker and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Julie Phillips Bryant and was also preceded in death by Brothers: C.H. Bryant, Otis Roscoe Bryant, and Garth Bryant, Sisters: Evon Bryant Hogan, Juanita Bryant Pursley, Half-sister: Florence Cash, Half-brothers: Lillious Bryant, Ellis Bryant, and Lester Bryant.

Mrs. Parks is survived by her Husband: Mr. Lee Parks, Dahlonega, Ga., Daughters and son in laws: Arlean and Eugene Barrett, Dahlonega, Ga., Verba Jean and Dewey N. (John) Gilreath, Dahlonega, Ga., Marvine and Daniel K. Wannemaker, Arlington, Va., Son: Larry Rider, Winder, Ga., Grandchildren: Joan Greenwalt, Jacksonville, Fl, Stephen Rider, Lawrenceville, Ga., Wayne Barrett, Dahlonega, Ga., Rodney Sean Rider, Ohio, Carl Jeffery (C.J.) Rider, Winder, Ga., Great-grandchildren: James Greenwalt, Jacksonville, Fl, Dylan Rider, Ohio, Dustin Rider, Ohio, Katy Greenwalt, Jacksonville, Fl, Hannah Barrett, Dahlonega, Ga., Jennifer, Greenwalt, Jacksonville, Fl, Stepchildren, Daniel Parks, Joyce Link, and Donald Parks, Step-grandchildren: Jolie Parks, Matthew Link, Heidi Parks, and April Parks, Brothers: Roosevelt Bryant, Jackson County, Ga., Brothers and sister in laws: S.J. and Kathleen Cameron Bryant, Jackson County, Ga., Julian and Imogene L. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends are left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Parks

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega with Rev. Terry Head and Rev. Dean Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem-Jones Chapel Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The remains will be available for viewing after 12 Noon on Friday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 P.M. until 9 P.M. and all day on Saturday.
