Clyde J. Ramey

Mr. Clyde J. Ramey,age 68, of Cornelia,GA, died Monday, March 1,2005, at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Ramey was born on Sept. 4, 1936, in Pickens County,SC. He was the son of the late Marvin James Ramey,Sr. and Ruth Lee Waldrup Ramey, and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence Ramey, David Ramey and Ollie Ramey. Mr. Ramey was retired from Cornelia Veneer Company and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his son, Richard Frady Ramey, Texas; 3 sisters, Evelyn Heerwagen, Alto,GA, Sarah Lawson, Gainesville,GA, and Betty Canipe, Hickory,NC; one brother, James Ramey Jr., Alto,GA; special friend, Kathy Smith, Carnesville,GA.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
