Carlos Arturo Wilson

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Carlos Arturo Wilson, who departed from this world on June 4, 2024.

Carlos Arturo Wilson was a devoted family man, beloved by all who knew him. Born on June 6, 1942, he lived a life full of love, kindness, and dedication to his family and friends. Carlos had a passion for learning, which led him to achieve a Master’s in Structural Engineering (MSE) and an MBA. His commitment to education and personal growth was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Carlos is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edna M. Wilson; sons, Carlos Arturo Wilson, Carlos Andres Wilson; daughter, Edna I. Wilson DeLoach; grandchildren, Simone Wilson Minnick and husband Hunter, Connor Wilson DeLoach, Jackson Eric DeLoach, and Gabriel Wilson; great grandchildren, Sylvee Minnick and Findley Minnick; and best fur companions, Messi, Flash, and KitCat. He was a pillar of strength and an inspiration to everyone around him. His warmth, wisdom, and generosity will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6439 Sprout Springs Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate his life. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel.
