Jeffrey Douglas Clark

Jeffrey (Jeff) Clark, age 58 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Mr. Clark was born May 13, 1965, in Gainesville, Ga, to Ivan and Martha Sutton Clark. In addition to his father, Ivan Douglas Clark, Jeff is preceded in death by his niece, Keri Ann Clark, Savannah, GA; paternal grandparents, Don and Grace Clark, Flowery Branch, GA; maternal grandparents, Herschel and Nell Sutton, Cleveland, GA.

Jeff was an athlete at White County High School, where he played basketball and football and graduated in the class of 1983. Jeff was the long-time owner of Clark’s Synthetics. He was an avid outdoors man. He loved to hunt, fish, hike, and camp here in the North Georgia mountains and especially at his second home in Montana. Jeff’s generosity for others in need was abounding, for many years he helped organize and collect money for the White County Pre-K’s White Christmas Program and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Jeff loved his children and grandchildren as well as his dog Charles.

Survivors include his significant other Angela Knauer; his mother, Martha Sutton Clark, of Cleveland, GA; brothers, Doug Clark and wife Stacy Clark of Great Falls, MT and Mark Clark of Gainesville, GA; children, Tye Clark, Shannon Clark and Britt McFall, Kacie Clark and Thomas Sprague; stepson Alex Knauer; grandchildren Cooper Jay Gailey, Noah Archer, Naomi Boggs, Cleo McFall; and nephew Kyle Clark.

It was Jeff's wishes that no services be planned.
